Sweet Chase was the first boy in Robin’s life. Unfortunately, this session was taken because Chase did not have long with this family. He was diagnosed with bone cancer and did not have long to live. The time I was with him he just had a slight limp. Before she could put in her order he was gone. I was so happy to be able to capture these images of him and other moments she had with him. Thank you for trusting me with these precious moments! Now this session did not go quite as planned as we all had hoped. We ended up shooting twice to get in the images we needed. Lets just say because of many things happening I was unable to get both boys in a picture. Between tears, bugs, bathroom breaks, throw up and yes choking on dandelions… we had to reschedule. It is one shoot I will be talking about for a long time. At least they took it in stride and we shot at their house the next time with no problems!
Thanks guys for not being too upset with the flow of the shoot! We finally got it all in and I was so happy to meet Chase. Thanks for allowing me to step into your world with him. Hopefully, I will see you soon! hint hint!![]()

Beautiful pictures of Chase!! His story and his photos brought tears to my eyes. Makes me think of our Roo. We’ll have to schedule a session with Cameron REAL soon! I knew you’d be able to capture the “it” in animals too! Go YOU!
How sad! I’m sure the family is thrilled to have images of their sweet dog like this. So sweet. Love all the family portraits. Stunning work!
