I have been photographing this family since I picked up my camera for the first time. In August they will be welcoming baby Leah into their lives. Unfortunately not into their home right away. Leah has a heart defect called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome that will keep her in the hospital for the first month of her life. We are anxiously awaiting her birth and can not wait to celebrate girl #3! Congrats guys and I can not wait for Leah photo debut!

Please let your friends know they are in our prayers. We too have a little girl with HLHS and three healthy girls as well. Our little girl with HLHS will be six months in August and has had two surgeries to date (both at Duke). She is doing great! Please tell your friends there is hope!
