You know when you see a movie and the guys holds the girls face and looks at her like she is the only one there, and that it really does not matter who else is there. He is in the moment and no one can take him out of it. That was Jeben. Lauren was the only thought on his mind last Saturday. Jeben is the brother of my BFF Erika who I shot here.  I met him when I started college about 15 years ago and he now lives almost on the same street I did when I was living in Redondo Beach, California. We just switched places.

It was such an honor to be a part of this most anticipated day. It was sweet to see them look at each other, her friends dance around her friends and her father be so proud of the girl he raised. Thank you Lauren and Jeben for showing me the freshness of love!

The day was gorgeous. The rain held out. The location was gorgeous and the bride was phenomenal. What else can a non-wedding photographer ask for!  So this means you guys that, ” No, I do not do weddings.”  Occasionally I can be talked into one and I am happy to share one of those with you. I loved everything about this wedding. Their story reminded me of me and my hubs. They always knew they were meant to be. They could not stay away from each other… and they tried. They kept coming back and finally, FINALLY they got married. Now about those babies!!?? Enjoy these Britt and Mike even though it was last year that I took them!!!

I am honored to be shooting her wedding in September in Richmond VA, along side my other best friend Erika.  We took on one of the hottest days in NC this Saturday but she wears it well doesn’t she!  She has really found her prince. There is no telling how many times we have watched and quoted Top Gun throughout college. She has always wanted someone like that and she got herself an Iceman! I can not wait to see me in a bridesmaid’s dress shooting a wedding! It will be a sight. Congrats Crystal and Steven. I can not wait!
